Hello readers, I’m back with my blog to let you know about how to “nurture yourself with positivity.” You may have seen in your everyday life that many people don’t treat themselves very well. They don’t take proper care of themselves, don’t eat properly, or don’t sleep properly and fail to take care of their mental as well as physical health. If those people treat others the way they treat themselves, they would end up with very few friends.
Today, I’m going to talk about things you should always keep in mind and prioritize yourself before prioritizing others. Because I have seen many people around me who don’t treat themselves well as much as they do to others. So, I want everyone to nurture themselves as parents do to their children.
How to nurture yourself with positivity?
To treat yourself better firstly you should develop your inner nurturing parent for yourself. Imagine yourself as a child whom you should take care of and nurture with a positive and healthy mindset. Forgive yourself easily if do any mistakes and do efforts to keep yourself safe and healthy. That’s what a loving parent does and you must do to yourself.
1. Show love towards yourself.
Tell yourself “I love you and appreciate who you are.” Love yourself for what you are, never feel low over other’s opinions. Whatever you do it must make you happy and make you feel worthy and whenever you do some good work praise yourself “You did great, you worked hard I’m so proud of you.”
2. Take good care of yourself.
You must take care of yourself as your parents do to you. Always take proper care of yourself, sleep well, eat well, take fresh air every day and do some exercise to keep yourself healthy. By taking good care of yourself, you are nurturing your inner self with love and positivity.
3. Do nice things to yourself.
Don’t harm yourself because of others or what others say about you. Motivating yourself is a different experience from what you experience in this world. No one is as much capable as you to motivate yourself and grow up with positivity. Always treat yourself as your loving parent would treat you. You are a strong soul you don’t need anyone’s motivation once you gave it to yourself.
4. Set healthy boundaries with others.
Let everyone around you know what you want and what you don’t. What you like about them and what you don’t. never let anyone treat you badly the ones who care for themselves will never let it happen to themselves.
5. Become your advocate.
If someone hurts you or treats you badly speak for yourself. Tell them you don’t want to be treated that way you deserve better than that. Protect yourself from this harmful world and nurture yourself.
6. Believe yourself.
Believing in yourself is the biggest step towards nurturing yourself. You must believe that you can do it, if you are different from people around you then believe that you are unique and you can do something better than they can do. Tell yourself “You can do it.” There nothing which you cannot do you can reach all your limits and achieve whatever you want. Never give up hope on yourself while doing any task.
7. Be compassionate to yourself.
By doing these things you can start to love yourself and nurture yourself with positivity. Always have compassion for your humanity and your flaws. You’re going to make mistakes in the future but don’t punish or criticize yourself for it. Reassure yourself, comfort yourself, and accept yourself unconditionally as a loving parent would do to their child. And show that compassion to your loved ones as well they are humans too. People around you also need compassion motivation and nurturing just like you do for yourself.
By doing these things you can start to love yourself and nurture yourself with positivity. Always remember you are worthy, helpful, and unique. Stay positive about yourself and nurture yourself you expect others to do. Thank you for reading please share and give your comments below!
