Negative Impact of E-Learning:

Technology is not always efficient; it is harder for some students to grasp the concepts without coming physically to the school. E-learning also requires hight speed internet at home which can cause complications if not available.

Due to home environment students become lazy and do not concentrate on the studies. Students get distracted a lot very easily and because of laziness they choose to cheat in the examination or assignments rather than learning.

Cons of E-Learning:

  • Cheating is unavoidable
  • Requires self and time management skills
  • Only theoretical knowledge can be gained
  • Technical issues also occur
  • No self-discipline
  • No face-to-face interaction

Future of E-Learning:

Exponential growth is seen to be continue in the future of e-learning. Day by day the online learners are expanding worldwide which shows the importance of e-learning in the education system. Some successful educational institutions have already recognized that online learning can transform people, knowledge, performance and skills and other rest of the institutions will just follow suit sooner rather than later.

So, we must not forget that the world of online education is undoubtedly exciting but it mainly depends on the students, that which teaching method is more preferable by them, with which they are more comfortable.

All students have their own and unique learning style and e-learning will likely never be a one-size-fits-all type of solution to the education.
